Looking for something a little different to do with your friends on a weekday night? Flavour-testing a new hobby? Seeking new avenues for your artistic practice? Our ‘taster’ evenings in the studio might be just the thing you’re looking for.

Drop into Studio4, find a place at the table, take in the art on the walls and enjoy a night of glass art and nibbles as you design and bring your creations to life. This 2.5 hour session in the studio will teach you about kiln-form glass art, and how to go about painting with enamel onto sheet glass to brush, dab, dribble, and sponge to achieve a range of effects in your custom designs.

Your creations will be fired in the kiln and slumped into moulds to create a one-of-a-kind dish or sculptural object, ready to be collected the following week.

Nibbles and beverages provided (non-alcoholic).

All tools, safety equipment, and artistic materials will be provided, simply come to the workshop with an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, a bit of inspiration, and some fun ideas to work with.
